Current Job Opportunity

Window & Exterior Cleaning Technician

We are currently looking for two to join our small technical team working in the Whitstable, Herne Bay, Faversham and Canterbury areas of Kent.

Job description

The role involves providing window and exterior cleaning services to our primarily residential customers, initially under the tutelage of RJT founder, Rowan Tully.

You’ll receive full training, learning how to clean windows using both traditional and water-fed pole methods as well as learning how to carry out the other services we offer, such as gutter clearance and pressure washing.

Once trained, you’ll also help grow the business by generating leads i.e. identifying properties in need of our services and collecting prospective customers’ details so that we can provide a quote.

We work mainly outdoors and get to enjoy nice gardens, chat with the customers and give their pets lots of fuss!

It’s physical work, all year round in temperatures ranging from -5 to 35 degrees C.

We love it and are looking for someone who will also love it!

What we’re looking for:

We’re on a mission to build a team of staff who:

  • are nice, friendly people

  • are reliable

  • are ambitious and interested in our long-term career progression opportunities

  • communicate well with the other members of the team and our customers

  • take pride in their work

  • are VERY detail oriented

  • are good with heights and dogs (seriously, it helps to be a dog person in this job)

Here’s why you’ll want to join our team:

  • Small but growing family-run company with an excellent reputation

  • Career development opportunities as you gain skills and experience

  • Outdoor work in nice environments

  • Small, supportive, friendly team

  • Emphasis on personal growth and skill development

  • Discretionary, performance-based bonus scheme

Other information

  • Full driving licence required (a clean driving licence is preferable)

Bonus: Discretionary, performance-based bonus scheme once trained

Hours: approx. 35 per week, Monday-Friday, with overtime on Saturdays available upon request.

Type of position: Full time, permanent
